The three most important expectations to follow for all assignments:
- I accept all work that is completed in pencil.
- I accept papers which show all the work required in reaching the solution.
- I accept work completed on a separate sheet of paper.
For accelerated math, students should not spend more than 90 minutes per night on their homework. Their time should be budgeted in the following manner:
- 10 min - looking for the assignment
- 10 min - calling a friend for the assignment
- 21 min - explaining why Mr. Mangham is mean and just does not like children
- 12 min - getting a snack
- 9 min - checking what they are missing on TV
- 5 min - telling parents that Mr. Mangham never explained the assignment
- 12 min - waiting for mom or dad to do the assignment
