What is happening in accelerated math this year?

Sixth grade accelerated math covers all 7th and 8th grade TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) to prepare students for Algebra in 7th grade.

Major concepts: Integers, Equations, Geometry, Linear Equations (Proportional and Non-Proporotional Relationships)

Major project-based units: Fantasy Football, Menus and Restaurants, RMS Titanic, Design Your Dream Home, The Hunger Games, Star Wars, Animal Shapes and Sizes
